Cida-Dahi festival is celebrated in commemoration of a historic pastime between Nityananda Prabhu and Raghunath Das Goswami where a wonderful feast of chipped rice and yogurt was arranged for the pleasure of devotees at a place known as Panihati on the banks of holy river Ganges.
