Melbourne, Apr 2(AZINS) Cara Delevingne recently took to her social media to clarify and make it clear that she is not quitting modelling and admits that she is suffering from depression.
The 23-year-old model's tweets come after it was revealed that she is the face of Yves Saint Laurent's new campaign.
She was made the face of the company despite slamming the industry and announcing she had given it all up just a few months before, reports news.com.au.
Her impassioned set of tweets began with:
Delevingne continued, "I suffer from depression, was a model during a particularly rough patch of self-hatred."
"I am so lucky for the work I get to do but I used to work to try and escape and just ended up completely exhausting myself," she tweets.
Further, the Paper Towns star said that she is focusing on filming and is trying to learn how to not pick apart her every flaw. Marking her return to the career that launched her, the supermodel posed for a monochrome-styled shoot and TV campaign for the luxury brand's La Collection de Paris adverts.
