Anne Hathaway responds to Schumer's 'Trainwreck' jokeLos Angeles, July 22 (AZINS) Actress Anne Hathaway has responded to stand-up comedienne Amy Schumer for joking about her in the film "Trainwreck", directed by Judd Apatow.

In the film, Schumer's character compares her boyfriend Aaron's (Bill Hader) reaction after winning a charity award to Hathaway's on Oscar night when she carried her Best Supporting Actress Academy Award trophy to after-parties in 2013, reports aceshowbiz.com.

Hathaway has seen the raunchy comedy and she took the joke in stride.

Posting a photograph of her ticket stub on image-sharing website Instagram, she captioned it: "Dear @AmySchumer, Don't pretend like when you win your Oscar - which you could for your brilliant and refreshing writing and/or acting in @TrainwreckMovie- you won't tote it around to every Oscar party you go to. Way to slay, Annie."

Schumer then took to micro-blogging website Twitter to respond to Hathaway's message and claimed that it was Apatow who wrote the joke.

"I love you Anne Hathaway. I have no problem selling out and telling you that that was @JuddApatow's joke he made me say! #truth," the comedienne wrote.

Apatow defended his joke, tweeting: "I stand behind that joke @amyschumer. Bill looked like an Oscar winning actress at an Oscar party."

"Trainwreck" has earned rave reviews from critics and celebrities, including Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham and Jerry Seinfeld.
