Dear Cricket lovers in Arizona and USA,

 

After a reasonable success of first edition of APL in 2010 we are announcing APL 2011 with a guaranteed prize money of $3000 (Total prize money given out for 2011 , independent of the profit or loss). 

 

Thanking our 5 ownerships that supported us for the first edition we are extending special offer for them to continue  ownership and get a shot at winning the PRIZE money this year. Last years 5 owners will be able to keep their team ownership by paying the base price decided for all APL teams.  This year's APL ( by MetroStars Cricket Club) will provide most of the items that owners had to pay extra money for last year. APL will provide color uniform shirts to all teams, APL will provide water and energy drinks as well as some energy food to players for ALL games.

 

As there is good number of NEW want to be owners we will add one extra team via auction. If any of the last year's owners do not want to keep their ownership this year those teams will be auctioned out to new buyers too. Auction for teams will start at the base price.

 

We have two new organizers added to APL organization. Srikanth Ponapalli of Premier Cricket and Vrushakk Joshi will help Mahesh Naik and Vivek Govekar.

 

Players registration will start from tomorrow. Last years owners buying teams this year will get  to make 3 of their last years players restricted during the player auction so they can keep them on their team. All players will be auctioned on player auction day (May 14/15).  Players who are categoried as restricted by last years owners can be kept by matching the highest bid that those players fetch during auction. Auction rules will be same as last year.

 

We have already spoken to some of you personally and rest of you will get a call from the organizers in a day or two to decide team auction day. 

Looking forward to an exciting FANTASY cum REAL quality cricket in APL 2011. Tentative start date for APL 2011 has been set to May 20th 2011.
