The Big Picture

While Intraedge Kings journey to the finals in the knockout round included a super over victory over Arizona Cricket club thanks to the incessant rain during the Quarter Final and a convincing win against the Metro Suns in the semi finals, Cavaliers registered straight wins against the Tornado Cricket Club in the quarter finals and against Metro Stars in the semi finals. While Intraedge Kings emerged strong over the very unpredictable nature of a Super over in the quarter final, the Cavaliers showed the mettle by beating the best bowling side of the tournament in the semi final. The stage for an exciting final between the two very balanced and competitive teams of the valley seems to be all set.

It will very hard to make a judgment at this stage given the teams and also the nature of the 20-20 game, but would you like to take a chance?

Watch out for..

Ketan Panchal and Dhananjay Vidwans: Ketan and Dhananjay are the man in form from Cavaliers and they would once again try to provide the initial 20-20 punch for Cavaliers. Ketan will be equally useful with the bowl.

Karan Wittke and Maheshwar Sadashivam: Karan heads the list of leading run scorer and has been in blasting form. The left handed Maheshwar on the other hand tops the bowling list with a magnificent economy of 3.06 runs per over.

AZTwenty20 Excitement:

The 8 week long 20-20 fun is going to end this weekend with a bang. The friends and families of the Cricketers are expected to come in large numbers and cheer for them. Along with the final on the Washington (E) ground, an All Star game would also be played in the adjacent east ground. All star game will feature two teams, each carved out of Red and Blue Group respectively, based purely on stats in the tournament.

Pitch & conditions

The final game is going to be played on the Washington (E) ground and the pitch would behave more of same the same ways as it did in the semi finals between Metro Suns and Intraedge Kingfishers. Odd balls might keep low, but generally good bounce albeit slow.
