'Rudhramadevi' left Aditi Chengappa awestruckChennai, Nov 24 (AZINS) Southern actress Aditi Chengappa, who plays an important role in upcoming Telugu period-drama "Rudhramadevi", says the experience of working in the film left her completely awestruck.

"I was mostly awestruck during the course of the shoot. Everywhere you look on the sets, there's so much to be in awe about. From the sets to the costumes, there's so much to rave about," Aditi told AZINS.

"I was also in awe of the cast, which sometimes was quite intimidating because it's not easy to share stage with some great actors. There were so many scenes when all the actors would be seen in one frame. To be present alongside them and act can take your breath away," she said.

Aditi was equally mesmerized by the technology used for the movie, which is being shot in 3D.

"I'm a gadget geek and I love photography. Whenever I'm not shooting, I'll be near the cameraman asking him questions about shooting in 3D and the lenses. It's quite fascinating because this is the first time I'm being part of a 3D film," she added.

Directed and produced by Gunasekhar, "Rudhramadevi" features Anushka Shetty in the titular character. It's the story of Kakatiya dynasty.

The film also features Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, and Adithya Menon in important roles.

Aditi plays Anushka's sister in the film, which is expected to release early next year.

Meanwhile, the Bangalore-based actress is awaiting the release of Tamil thriller "Ra" and also has a bilingual up her sleeve.

Still need mom's advice on scripts: Thulasi Nair

Chennai, Nov 24 (AZINS) Thulasi Nair, daughter of yesteryear southern actress Radha, says she still takes her mother's advice when it comes to choosing scripts as she feels she's not yet ready to take such big decisions herself.

The 17-year-old, who made her cinematic debut with Mani Ratnam's Tamil romantic-drama "Kadal", was last seen in romantic-thriller "Yaan".

"I still listen to scripts or meet a director with mom. I still feel I need advice on choosing scripts because I don't think I'm mature enough to take such big decisions. We hear it together and then we discuss it. She hears me out and vice versa," Thulasi told AZINS.

For any professional advice, Thulasi reaches out to her mother and aunt, popular southern actress Ambika.

Thulasi spent nearly two years on "Yaan", which was her recent release in Tamil.

"As an actor, I feel 'Yaan' made me very independent and gave me an opportunity to establish myself professionally," she said.

She is currently waiting for a script that will challenge her as an actor.
