At the new Maha Ganapati Temple in Maricopa, members recently held a festive three-day cermony. In keeping with the Hindu faith, they transmit the presence of God into statues of Hindu deities that will be placed in shrines. Members cleanse the deity statues and infuse them with energy. The ceremony itself is full of music, chanting, and colorful clothing.
