Abhishek Bachchan on losing roles because of his 'no intimate scenes' clause for daughter Aaradhya
Abhishek Bachchan who is all set for his web series Breathe: Into the Shadows on an OTT platform has always been particular about his family, especially his daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. In a recent interview, the actor spoke not only about his career but also how he rejected certain roles in the past as he felt his daughter, Aaradhya would be uncomfortable watching them.

Quoting a report, BollywoodLife detailed his conversation saying, "I know it has changed one thing. There are certain kinds of films and scenes I’m not comfortable doing anymore. I would not want to do anything in which my daughter would feel uncomfortable or something that she’d question me about, saying ‘hey what’s going on here?"

Abhishek further added that he was uncomfortable shooting for romantic scenes from the start of his career. He said, "I’m thankful for it because as it is, I was very uncomfortable doing romantic scenes. So I’m not comfortable doing any intimate scenes, and I’d rather not."

Abhishek said that there have been a lot of times when he has bowed out of films because of his clause and that he has no regrets about them. He said, "Yes, and that’s fine. No regrets, because I had a creative point of view, and the producer-director has a creative point of view, and they didn’t want to compromise on that and I completely respect that, and it’s perfectly fine."

Abhishek's last outing was opposite Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal in Manmarziyaan after which he took a sabbatical as he wasn't happy being part of ensemble casts anymore.
