After testing negative in sixth coronavirus test, Kanika Kapoor eager to reunite with her children
Singer Kanika Kapoor after testing positive five times finally tested negative for the deadly coronavirus in her sixth test on Saturday. However, the singer will still be kept under isolation and will be allowed to go home only when she is proven coronavirus negative in another test.

In a recent interview, her family said that Kanika misses her children and wants to be with them soon. Her family members also said that Kanika is missing "company and crowd" that she is used to in her daily life. They further added that she is also eagerly waiting to meet her family, especially her children, a son, and two daughters.

Reports also state that Kanika was not provided any books in her hospital room but did have a TV that kept her informed of all that is happening in the world, including the coronavirus crisis.

"Her reports are now negative but we will wait for one more test before she is allowed to go home," Prof R.K. Dhiman, director of the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) in Lucknow said, where she is undergoing treatment.

However, it seems like Kanika's trouble won't end there as three FIR's have been filed against Kanika on charges of negligence for attending various social events in the city even after being infected with coronavirus and having been instructed by the authorities to isolate herself at her home. For the uninformed, Kanika was admitted to the hospital on March 20 and was found corona positive.
