'Not 3 parties of 400 families, attended one party with 30 people': Coronavirus patient Kanika Kapoor on father's claims
'Baby Doll' singer Kanika Kapoor, who was tested positive for COVID-19 recently, has clarified her father's statement of infecting over 400 families. She stated that not three-four parties, she had attended one family get together which might have consisted of 30 people at max.

"I attended a small get together on March 13. My father can't say this that I attended three parties. I tried my level best not to contaminate others. Throughout the past week, we were all wearing gloves," Kanika told Aaj Tak in a telephonic interview while she was under isolation in the Lucknow hospital.

"I am isolated and have fever. I am in the hospital and do not have water also. When I spoke to the doctor, he threatened to file a case against me rather than helping me. I am in quarantine right now. Last evening only, they tested me and found results," confirmed Kanika.

She also reportedly dodged the airport authorities after landing in Lucknow last week. However, the 'educated and hardworking girl' denied all such claims stating she was not only part of the scanning process, but also called the CMO to check her and fill all forms at airport.

The singer was in London to meet her children. Reports suggested that she hosted a lavish party for her friends and family at a five-star hotel in the Uttar Pradesh capital. Confirming so, her father Rajiv Kapoor had previously told Aaj Tak, "Six of us in our family are undergoing test today at 4pm. Kanika has attended three parties after her arrival. She came in contact with around 350-400 families in three parties. Along with Kanika, we are also in isolation."
