Shashi Kapoor would have turned 82-year-old today. On his birth anniversary, Shabana Azmi remembered the thespian actor with just one word. The word is something you cannot think of. She simply wrote 'gorgeous' over some images shared on his birth anniversary.

The images shared were old photographs of Shashi Kapoor, most of them stills. While some images were in black-and-white, the others were in colour. One of the images were also signed by the legend himself.

Shabana had shared screen space with Shashi Kapoor several times in the 70s and 80s. This was not the first time that Shabana remembered Shashi on his birth anniversary. "Shashiji ... We miss you.. your warmth, your generosity, your humanity... Today would have been your 81st birthday," she had written.

Born in 1983 to legendary actor Prithviraj Kapoor, he was the younger brother to Raj and Shammi Kapoor. He worked not only in Indian but also International cinema. Confined to a wheelchair during his old age, Shashi Kapoor died in December 2017 when he was 79-year-old.
