In a surprising move yesterday, an account called @kareenakapoorkhan with no profile picture leaped on the screens. Yesterday the account had just one video of a cat walking across the screen, with a caption that says, 'Coming soon'. However, Kareena today officially made her Instagram debut. Sharing a picture on Friday, the actor wrote in the caption, "The cat’s out of the bag. #HelloInstagram."

Sadly, Kareena’s first Instagram post wasn’t with her husband Saif Ali Khan or son Taimur Ali Khan much to fans' disappointment. But in the solo picture, Kareena looked cool donning a sporty ensemble that included a black tracksuit, a hoody and a pair of black sneakers.

After staying away from social media for the longest time, Kareena had announced her Instagram debut in an interview in Mid-Day. At the time, she had said, "I have always believed in ‘Never say never’. The world of Instagram was daunting for me because I didn’t want to get addicted to ‘likes’ on pictures or sharing details of my life. But I realised I have to move with the times. I am joining social media for my fans, who have supported me for 20 years. I want [to share details] of my life with my fans."

Instead of creating a new account, Kareena has taken over an existing account handled by her management team. Her profile picture shows a cute picture of a very young Kareena, posing with her fingers in her mouth. On the work front, after Angrezi Medium, Kareena will reunite with her 3 Idiots co-star Aamir Khan in Advait Chandan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, which is an official remake of the critically-acclaimed Hollywood film Forrest Gump.
