After Virat Kohli, Priyanka Chopra becomes 2nd Indian to cross 50 million followers on Instagram
Earlier this week, Indian skipper Virat Kohli shared a happy video after he crossed 50 million followers on Instagram. The ace cricketer became the first Indian to achieve this and he captioned the video stating, "50 Million strong on @instagram Thank you guys for all the love and support." Now, a few days after Virat achieved this milestone, Priyanka Chopra Jonas became the second Indian to cross 50 million followers on the photo-sharing app.

Currently, Virat stands at 50.4 million followers and Priyanka has about 50 million exact. Both are getting followers increased at every second. Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is currently at the third spot with 44.3 million followers and Alia Bhatt follows her with 43.3 million followers. While Shraddha Kapoor stands at the fifth position with 40.7 million followers.

Meanwhile, Priyanka is currently in Mumbai for some work commitments and was clicked at the airport during the wee hours of Saturday morning. On the professional front, she will next be seen in a Netflix original superhero film titled We Can Be Heroes. The actor will also be playing the lead role in Russo Brothers' Amazon global thriller series titled Citadel. On the show, PeeCee will be seen alongside Richard Madden of Game of Thrones fame.

Moreover, it's also confirmed that Priyanka will be playing the titular role in Sheela, which is a biopic based on Osho's spokesperson and convicted Ma Anand Sheela. The actor also has a film titled The White Tiger opposite Rajkummar Rao.
