'Gangubai Kathiawadi': Alia Bhatt unveils logo of the film; here's when first look will be out
Alia Bhatt's forthcoming film is Gangubai Kathiawadi in which she is finally collaborating with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film is adapted from book Mafia Queens of Mumbai written by Hussain Zaidi. Alia has started shooting for the film since Christmas 2019 and is leaving no stone unturned in getting into the skin of the character. In Gangubai Kathiawadi, the talented actor will be seen as a brothel owner and matriarch.

Now Alia took to her Instagram page and unveiled the logo of Gangubai Kathiawadi along with the theme music. The actor also announced that the first look of the much-awaited film will be unveiled tomorrow that is, January 15, 2020. She captioned the video stating, "Gangubai"

While SLB Productions official Twitter page wrote, "The wait ends and the excitement begins now. Get ready to dive into her world, first look out tomorrow. #GangubaiKathiawadi, in cinemas, 11 September 2020! @aliaa08 #SanjayLeelaBhansali @prerna982 @jayantilalgada @PenMovies"

Earlier, as per reports in The Times of India, for Gangubai Kathiawadi, Alia will be learning new dialect and she will also be learning cuss words in Hindi and Marathi. The portal also reported that the character is a culture shock for the actor as she will be donning a never-seen-before avatar for it. 

The male lead of Gangubai Kathiawadi is yet to be announced and as per reports, it's likely to be played by Ajay Devgn. Meanwhile, the film is set to hit the screens on September 11, 2020.
