Deepika Padukone is eagerly waiting and working towards the release Chhapaak, not only because the actress is a few days away from her debut as a producer with the film but also that her character of Malti, an acid attack survivor, is something she has never done before.

The Padmaavat actress is on a promotional spree as of now and during on of those events when the actress was questioned by a reporter about her pregnancy, she had a fitting and a witty reply for them which is sure to win your heart.

Deepika amused when a journalist prodded her on rumors of her pregnancy said, "Do I look like I'm pregnant? I will ask you when I will plan (to have a family). If you give me permission then I will plan. If I become pregnant, then you will see that in nine months."

The actress was further asked about her future projects and if fans will ever get to see her and Salman Khan together in a film to which the actress replied, "Our fans are always curious about if we are doing a film together, about when we are doing a film together. I really want to do it but I think it's important for us to come together for the right kind of film. We have always seen Salman in certain types of films. I am the biggest fan of 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' and I would like to see him in that kind of a role or something different from what he has done, so I think it's really the script (that matters). We have not been offered anything in recent times but I would love to do a film with him."

Meanwhile, directed by Meghna Gulzar Chhapaak is all set to release on January 10, 2020. The film also stars Vikrant Massey in an important role.

Chhapaak will lock horns with Ajay Devgn, Kajol, and Saif Ali Khan starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior which is also releasing on the same day.
