Sidharth Malhotra-Riteish Deshumkh's film Marjaavaan opened to average numbers at the Box Office. The movie's collections were similar on its first Saturday as well. However, Sunday turned out to be a turning point for Marjaavaan. The film showed a 35% growth on Sunday, one of the best jumps on Sunday in the year. Only Ajay Devgn-Anil Kapoor's Total Dhamaal had a similar jump - of 40%.

Marjaavaan, featuring Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, Tara Sutaria, Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles, minted Rs. 9.75 crore on Sunday. The movie earned Rs. 23.75 crore in total, thus nearing Rs. 25 crore mark. The movie showed 50% growth in Gujarat, Saurashtra, and Rajasthan. In CP Berar, the collections of the film went up from Rs. 42 lakhs to Rs. 65 lakhs.

Meanwhile, the metros like Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore failed to perform. The movie worked 70% in multiplexes and 30% from single screens. The ratio for Marjaavan, in that context, is similar to Saaho Box Office. Monday will be the real testing time for Marjaavan and if the movie can sustain at the Box Office even then, it could be declared a hit soon enough.

Marjaavan also proved to be a great weekend for Sidharth Malhotra after years. The last movie which performed this well for Sidharth was his 2016 release, Kapoor & Sons. The movie had then earned Rs. 25 crores by the weekend. The movie has performed best among other releases too, mainly Nawazuddin Siddiqui-Athiya Shetty's film Motichoor Chaknachoor.
