'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah': Jethalal refuses to play Garba without Dayaben in Gokuldham Society
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been missing everyone's favourite Dayaben for a while now, and this year husband Jethalal has decided to not participate in Gokuldham Society’s Navratri festivities without her. While the rest of the society is excited for the festival, Jethalal declares his unwavering decision.

Jethalal is upset over his wife being away from the family for over two years, and to express his anger, he had taken the decision that he won't play Garba this year unless Daya comes back to Gokuldham Society. The only way he will partake in the Navratri festival is if Daya is there with him to celebrate. The decision could possibly lead to Gokuldham Society not celebrating Navratri this year, or Dayaben coming back on the show.

After Jethalal's decision, Baapuji and Tapu too decide to take a step back from celebrations. The entire Gokuldham society would feel spiritless without Gada family's presence. Without Jethalal, Baapuji and Tapu, Gokuldham Society members began to worry that Navratri will not feel like a celebration and without Dayaben, the Garba queen, no one will feel at ease. Earlier reports suggested that Disha Vakani who has been playing Dayaben's character for years will possibly return to the comedy show for the Navratri special episode.

There have been no confirmations if she will be returning as Daya for just the Navratri episode, or will she resume the character once again indefinitely. Fans and Gokuldham Society have been waiting for Dayaben's return to the show. The said special episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is set to air in the coming week.
