Satyajeet Dubey, who was last seen in Sanjay Dutt-starrer Prassthanam, has been roped in for a finite TV series. It is based on the concept of time travel. The show is reportedly inspired by the Hollywood film, Back To The Future. An adventure fantasy, the film travels between the realms of past, present and future, adding great twists and turns in the life of its protagonist. Sources close to the production indicate that Satyajeet’s show is modernised and Indianised version stemming from the same idea.

The source further adds, “Time travel is an interesting idea lesser explored in Bollywood. It is thus interesting to see writers tap into the genre with this show. The series is not an adaptation but has a similar line of thought as the 1985 classic. The protagonist moves between different time periods leading to a comedy of situations in his life. It’s an interesting and fresh idea which is written with keeping the 2020 digital audience in mind.”
