Tiger Shroff on 'Boom' debacle: Furniture I'd grown up seeing disappeared, started sleeping on floor
Tiger Shroff is currently one of the leading actors in Bollywood. He is one of the youngest celebrities in Bollywood who has an action franchise to his credit. Tiger Shroff developed a numerous fan base with Baaghi, but the actor has also seen some low phases along with his family - father Jackie Shroff, mother Ayesha Shroff and sister Krishna Shroff.

Tiger, in a recent interview, opened up about the low point in his family life. At the mere age of 11, Tiger Shroff had to face tough times. The same happened after Ayesha Shroff's production film Boom tanked at the Box Office. Tiger's father Jackie Shroff, too, was not in a strong position financially which is why furniture from their house disappeared one-by-one.

Talking to GQ magazine in an interview, Tiger recalled, “I remember how our furniture was sold off, one by one. Things I’d grown up seeing around us started disappearing. Then my bed went. I started to sleep on the floor. It was the worst feeling of my life.”

Speaking about his roles, Tiger added, “You think of Shah Rukh sir (and) think ‘Romance King’. You (look at) Salman Khan, (and) think ‘Bhaijaan’. Each one of these guys has a label. That’s important in an industry that has so much competition. Every time I do something offbeat, (the audience has) not been as kind, to me. A Flying Jatt or Student Of The Year 2. In A Flying Jatt, I was a bumbling superhero, afraid of heights, fights and of using powers. In SOTY 2, I was a college guy getting bullied. It didn’t go down well with my audience. I don’t think they could digest me coming from Baaghi 2 to being beaten up by college students.”

For the uninitiated, Boom marked the debut of one of the leading Bollywood actresses currently, Katrina Kaif. Katrina was paired alongside megastar Amitabh Bachchan in the movie which also happened to star Jackie Shroff. Meanwhile Tiger Shroff and his fans are awaiting the release of his next - WAR - alongside Hrithik Roshan. The movie will hit theatres on October 2.
