Salman Khan plans to attain remake rights for Mahesh Babu's 'Maharshi': ReportMay 9 (AZINS) Mahesh Babu's film Maharshi has hit theatre screens today. The movie has got many actors of all industries excited for the film. In fact if latest news reports are to be believed then Salman Khan is planning to remake the film (even before its release).

However Salman Khan planning a Hindi remake of Mahesh Babu's Maharshi doesn't come much as a surprise. Thalapathy Vijay has already announced that he would remake the film, which is originally releasing in Telugu, into Tamil.

The promos (including Mahesh Babu-centric teaser and trailer of the film) caught the attention of movie buffs, who are now impressed with the film. A report on IBTimes suggested that Salman Khan was planning to watch the Mahesh Babu starrer along with his Dabangg 3 director Prabhudheva and their whole team. Interestingly Prabhudheva is the same filmmaker who helped Salman Khan revive his Bollywood career with Pokhiri remake which was titled Wanted.

In fact the report stated that the makers are holding a special screening for the team and in case Salman Khan likes the film, he might even give his nod for Hindi remake of the film. Nonetheless, the report claims that Bhaijaan is undoubtedly excited to watch the film.

The producer of the film Dil Raju, according to the report, might jointly bankroll the Hindi remake along with another Hindi film producer. All of this of course would be possible only if Salman Khan says a yes. Anyhow, Dil Raju is already set to collaborate with producer Boney Kapoor for the Hindi remake of F2 - Fun and Frustration.
