What a sport! Tim Cook changes Twitter name after Trump calls him Tim 'Apple'Mar 8(AZINS) After US President Donald Trump called out Apple CEO Tim Cook as "Tim Apple" during a meeting on Wednesday when he was thanking the company for its investments in the country and playing a key role, the CEO of the technology giant has secretly reacted to the matter.

Using his Twitter account to render his acknowledgment on Donald Trump 'slip of tongue' and calling him Tim Apple, Cook took to his Twitter page and quietly changed his name to Tim Apple — where his sir name Cook is represented by Apple logo. Very few people recognised this change since it is only visible on Apple and MAC devices. Those having Windows and Android devices will see a small blank box appearing after Tim's name on his Twitter handle.

Donald Trump made this 'accidental' gaffe during a meeting of the American Workforce Policy Advisory Board on Wednesday. He said, "We’re going to be opening up the labor forces because we have to. We have so many companies coming. People like Tim — you’re expanding all over and doing things that I really wanted you to do right from the beginning. I used to say, ‘Tim, you gotta start doing it here,’ and you really have you’ve really put a big investment in our country. We really appreciate it very much, Tim Apple".

Soon after Donald Trump calling him Tim Apple, netizens began trolling the US President. This was not the first time when the US President has wrongly called out names. Earlier in January 2018, he mocked Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos over his divorce with wife MacKenzie Bezos in a tweet, dubbing him "Jeff Bozo" and prior to that, he introduced Lockheed Martin CEO Marillyn Hewson as "Marillyn Lockheed."
