Salman Khan keen on bringing Navjot Singh Sidhu back on 'The Kapil Sharma Show' ?Mar 3 (AZINS) It looks like Navjot Singh Sidhu is all set to return to 'The Kapil Sharma Show'. According to a latest report in Dainik Bhaskar, the agreement between Sidhu and Sony TV was never terminatated. Infact the channel and the show's producer Salman Khan are waiting for the dust to settle so that they can bring him back on the show. Once everything is back to normal, Sidhu might bring his laughter riot and poetry skills back to the show.

It's being said that the channel and Kapil Sharma have been advised by Salman to refrain from commenting on the controversy.

"When this entire controversy happened; the channel was still not sure on what decision to make. It was the producer of the show, Salman Khan’s immediate decision to ask Sidhu to step down from the show. Obviously, as a producer, Salman did not want to take a chance especially when so much money has been involved in its production. The show is doing well in terms of TRP and Salman doesn’t want to lose it just for the sake of one person. And so, he decided to take a call immediately," a source had earlier told DB Post.

Archana Puran Singh, who was brought in as a replacement to Sidhu, was apparently signed in for only 20 episodes which further proves that the channel never had any intentions of permanently removing Sidhu.

Navjot Singh Sidhu was said to have been temporarily sacked from 'The Kapil Sharma Show' after his controversial remakrs on Pulwama terror attack provoked the nation's ire. The former cricketer was also banned by Federation of Western India Cine Employees from entering Mumbai's Film City premises.

Singh received severe backlash from his opponents for his 'Terrorism has no religion, no nation' statement. Twitterati made #BoycottKapilSharmaShow and #BoycottNavjotSinghSidhu trend on Twitter the entire day. Some even asked him to apologise while others demanded the channel to expel him from the comedy show.
