Ranveer Singh finds Will Smith’s congratulatory message for Gully Boy ‘Boht Hard’Feb 17 (AZINS) Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt-Kalki Koechlin-Vijay Raaz starrer Gully Boy promotions are on in full swing even after the movie’s release and the latest name to be added to that is Will Smith. Ranveer received Will’s congratulatory message and found it ‘boht hard’

Will had previously congratulated Ranveer and shared, “Yo, Ranveer. Congrats man. Loving what you doing with Gully Boy. For me, old-school hip-hop is seeing hip-hop all over the world like that. I'm loving it, man. Congrats, go get'em."

To that, Ranveer responded with two Instagram stories. “Shoutout from the original rapper slash actor - BIG WILLY! RESPECT,” he replied in the first story. He responded to the second story with the caption, “SALAAM TUMKO BADE BHAI! BOHT HARD.”

For the uninitiated, Will Smith is a celebrated rapper himself and was part of the evolution of hip-hop. His popular songs include ‘Gettin' Jiggy Wit It’ and ‘Switch’. Hip hop became so relatable to him that a chat show organized a whole episode on 'the evolution of hip hop ft. Will Smith'.

Ranveer Singh is currently all over the news not just for his latest release, Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, but also because he bagged an award for Padmaavat at an awards show in Dubai. The actor has found a lot of fans for Gully Boy, including his wife and Padmaavat co-star Deepika Padukone.

Interestingly Will will also be making his Bollywood debut with Punit Malhotra's Student Of The Year 2. He will be shaking a leg with the students Tara Sutaria, Ananya Panday, Tiger Shroff and Aditya Seal to name a few. The movie is produced by Karan Johar, who also co-incidentally co-produced Ranveer's last release Simmba along with director-producer Rohit Shetty.
