July 13 (AZINS) The character posters of the much-awaited fantasy comedy-drama film Christopher Robin are out and are totally adorable.
Christopher Robin was based on AA Milne's son Christopher Robin Milne. He featured in Milne's children's stories Winnie-the-Pooh and The House at Pooh Corner. Later in 1966, Disney adapted the stories in animation for Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree. These stories show Christopher Robin as a wee lad. The 2018 live-action adaptation takes a jump in future.
Ewan McGregor plays adult Christopher Robin. Jim Cummings is the voice of Winnie. Agent Carter star Hayley Atwell plays Christopher Robin's wife. Chris O'Dowd will be the voice of Tigger as Toby Jones and Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi will be the voices of Owl and Rabbit respectively. Sophie Okonedo is voicing Kanga.
Directed by Marc Foster and written by Alex Ross Perry, the film will also star Bronte Carmichael and Mark Gatiss in supporting roles.
The flick is slated to release on August 3 in the United States and August 10 in India.
