Ayan Mukerji takes a trip down memory lane by sharing a photo with his 'Inspiration, Obsession, Idol' Shah Rukh KhanApril 1 (AZINS) Last month Ayan Mukerji made his debut in the world of Instagram and has been treating fans with amazing facts about his own life. He has been even sharing a lot of unseen photos with his friends from Bollywood including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar among others. The Wake Up Sid director is also sharing several BTS stills of his upcoming film, Brahmastra which stars Ranbir and Alia in the lead roles along with Amitabh Bachchan.

Today, Ayan took to his Instagram page and shared a throwback photo with none other than Shah Rukh Khan. In the photo, clicked on the sets of Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, both of them are seen hugging each other. Mukerji shared the photo with a heartfelt note praising the superstar. He wrote, "SRK (1) Inspiration. Obsession. Idol. My single biggest love at the movies through my entire childhood and teenage years, leading up the highlight of my 2 assistant director experiences - Swades and KANK - which was that I got to be in the presence of Shah Rukh Khan. And when I got very lucky, to be a stand in with him for blocking scenes (This photo is framed and put up in my house by my mother who considered it the height of my achievement obviously)"

Ayan added, "The joys of those early years when I was an AD, fresh in the industry, interacting with everyone for the first time - sometimes I wish I could go back to the innocence of that time... #lookingback #connectingthedots #SRKlove"

Talking about Brahmastra, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role and is slated to release in December this year.
