Mumbai, Jan 15(AZINS) The Asus ZenFone Max--the 4G smartphone with a massive 5,000mAH battery--is now available for purchase on Flipkart for Rs 9,999.

Launched earlier this month where the device needed to be pre-booked online, the phone is now available for outright purchase. The title feature being that huge battery, it is slated to deliver 37.6 hours of 3G talk time or 32.5 hours of Wi-Fi Web browsing or 72.9 hours of music playback or 22.6 hours of video playback when fully charged, states the company.

On the photography front, the phone integrates a 13MP rear and 5MP front PixelMaster camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens and laser auto-focus, along with a low-light mode that claims to capture up to 400 percent brighter photos at night or low light condition without utilizing the flash.

The phone is also able to double up as a power bank that enables it to charge other USB devices--a nice inclusion given that it has the battery clearly has capacity to spare. The phone is 5.2mm thin and is based on a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard memory (expandable by 64GB using microSD.)
