PC sales on a constant declineMumbai, Jan 13(AZINS) Total PC sales have been been declining consistently for the last four years. Consumers are switching from the conventional PC to more convenient smartphones, laptops or tablets. This along with PC users waiting for a long time to upgrade has led to a steady decline in PC sales. Even Microsoft's very-own Windows 10 has failed to pull PC sales out of this slump.

IDC researches have reported that PC sales have dropped by little over 10 percent in the past quarter which is the biggest sales drop ever witnessed.

However, On the other side of the spectrum sales are increasing for Apple’s Mac series, probably owing to hype surrounding Apple products.

Nowadays almost every major PC maker have shifted a little bit of their focus to tablets and smartphones. Even Microsoft has taken their fate into their own hand with their Lumia series and their range of tablets.

Microsoft’s Windows is stuffed into everything these days and Windows 10 is apparently the best windows ever released. If you own everything microsoft like a Windows PC, Xbox One, Windows Tablet and Windows based laptop then you can move seamlessly from device to device, making life far easier, something that no other operating system has done as yet.

The real problem lies with consumers moving to easier methods of getting their daily fix of news, web surfing, gaming, Microsoft apps etc. I mean, Why would you sit stationary when you can browse the web on your smartphone at your convenience?

Maybe it's time to put that old box to rest and make-way for something to takes its place.
