Nikon's first action camera shoots 360 video in 4KMumbai, Jan 7(AZINS) Nikon has taken the opportunity at CES 2016 to announce its  first ever action camera, a line of cameras currently dominated by GoPro.  The KeyMission 360 supports 360-degree video, and it does so in glorious 4K.  But while this may be the only 360 video model, Nikon has promised a more varied line up of action cameras in the future.

The KeyMission 360 is small enough to sit in your hand, and some what like a semi-flattened cube. It has an image sensor and lens on both sides, combining video to give you a full 360-degree perspective, is shockproof up to 2m and waterproof up to 30m. The device also has electronic Vibration Reduction, to reduce jitter in your video. Nikon also has few custom built mounts ready, which will likely ship when the camera does. When that date is, however, Nikon failed to elaborate, and we're in the dark as far as the price and availability go as well. For now, we're keeping our eyes on the KeyMission 360, as it boldly goes where no action camera has gone before.
