'Penguin' trailer: Keerthy Suresh is in search of a ruthless monster on the prowl in this crime thriller
The trailer for Tamil film Penguin is out and it stars Keerthy Suresh in the lead role. The film is a crime thriller in which the actor plays the role of a pregnant woman who is in search of a ruthless monster, who is on a killing spree. The trailer has some thrilling moments and shows how brutally children are kidnapped and tortured by the monster. It also shows a glimpse of the hostages being butchered in an unimagined way.

Keerthy's character is set out on a dangerous and physically demanding journey to unravel a mystery from her past and save her loved ones. Although the face of the villain is not shown, there's a showdown between him and Keerthy's character. The monster is a masked person with a funny cap and an umbrella. The villain also carries a bouquet after killing the child.

Talking about the film, Keerthy said in a statement, "Penguin has been one of the most exciting and interesting projects I've worked on. As a mother, Rhythm is both gentle and caring, but also fiercely determined. She's complex but authentic, and I think that will strike a chord with audiences. I had a wonderful time working with the incredibly talented Eashvar Karthic (director) to bring the story to life. It will be great to see a film in Tamil, Telugu that will be appreciated by audiences around the world."

Penguin is produced by Karthik Subbaraj and will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages from June 19, 2020.
