Anushka Shetty's birthday wish for her mom leads to netizens bashing 'Dear Comrade' actor Rashmika Mandana'; here's how
Aug 6 (AZINS) A few days back, Anushka Shetty's mother Prafulla Shetty celebrated her birthday. The Baahubali actor took to her social media pages and shared a family photo to wish her mother on a happy day. She wished her by writing the message in the Kannada language. It read as, "???????? ??????? ????????? ?????". Soon after that, Anushka's fans applauded the actor for writing in Kannada which is her mother tongue. However, they ended up taking a dig at another Kannada actor.

Yes, we are talking about Dear Comrade actor Rashmika Mandanna. A section of media had earlier reported that Rashmika is not fluent with Kannada and it was a difficult language. For the uninitiated, Rashmika was born and raised in Karnataka. It thus deeply affected Rashmika's Kannadiga fans to know that she found the language difficult.

Rashmika earlier replied to an interview about not knowing the language fluently. She had said, "adu kastam....yenaku Aa language correct agi varaadungaa" (It is also difficult...I cannot speak any language correctly)." During the whole interview, Rashmika also goes on to reveal that she is not good at speaking English either.

One of the users had also said, "Born in Karnataka but donno to speak Kannada Bollywood heroines r really better. Anushka Shetty is no. 1 in Telugu as she respects n speaks Kannada too. Learn from legend."

People have been protesting against Rashmika and want her movies to be banned in Karnataka. Meanwhile, Rashmika's latest release is Dear Comrade.
