OnePlus 7 software updates: Company focuses on improving camera quality, touch sensitivity of screen
June 8 (AZINS) The OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro were officially launched in India on June 4. And within a few days, the company has started sending updates to these new launches.

OnePlus 7 Pro is getting a software update, especially focusing on improving the touch sensitivity of the phone's display and camera.

The OnePlus 7 Pro users in recent days have been receiving notification of OxygenOS update, which is about 127MB in size. The update is emphasised on optimising the double tap to wake feature (to alert users) and issues with the 'Ambient Display'. The update also provides improvements to the audio quality of voice calls fro third-party apps and to enhance ouch sensitivity.

OnePlus 7 Pro's initial reviews suggest that the camera is a bit of a let-down. So for course correction, the company has improved the camera's overall contrast and colour performance, white balance and accuracy and stability of auto-focusing. There was a complaint from the users that they are seeing greenish tones while shooting in the low-light conditions. The major improvement is in the ultra-wide sensor which upgraded the contrast, colour saturation, clarity in shooting and noise reduction in the low-light scenes. The OnePlus has also improved also the overall quality of the 'Nightscape'.

The OnePlus 7 Pro is considered to be one of the most expensive in India. It prices at Rs 48,999 for the 128GB variant, and goes up to Rs 57,999 for the 256GB variant. The OnePlus 7 Pro has a 6.67-inch long display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset. It has also a triple camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens.

The OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro are available on the e-commerce website Amazon India and the company's official website and from June 14, they will also be available in MyJio stores, Croma and Reliance digital outlets.
