After 'Bharat Ane Nenu', press confrontation to be the highlight in Mahesh Babu's 'Maharshi' tooFeb 13 (AZINS) The sequence in Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu where he confronts the press and reprimands them for their careless reporting on his personal life was quite a hit. With audiences going gaga over how the scene is probably the best in his career, the actor himself also claimed that it is his favourite sequence from all his body of work.

And it looks like in his next, Maharshi with director Vamshi Paidipally, the actor is set to do an encore. To be seen as a highflying CEO of an MNC who takes interest in farming, we have reliably learnt that the film will see Mahesh confront the press, yet again, but this time, taking them on a lesson on the importance of farming. “Mahesh delivered a lengthy monologue of nearly two minutes which will be the highlight of the film. The sequence was shot at a village close to Pollachi. The actor-director duo is quite confident that this scene in the film will leave a mark,” shares a source in the know.

Starring Pooja Hegde as the female lead, the film also has Allari Naresh in a key role. Jointly produced by Dil Raju, Ashwini Dutt and Prasad V. Potluri on Sri Venkateswara Creations, Vyjayanthi Movies, and PVP Cinemas banner, the film is set to release this summer on April 25.

Meanwhile, there’s been a buzz for a while that Mahesh is set to do a film with director Anil Ravipudi who just scored a hit with F2 the recent Sankranti. Mahesh has films with director Sukumar in the pipeline. The duo had teamed up for the critically acclaimed 1: Nenokkadine. A film with Arjun Reddy maker Sandeep Vanga is also in the queue and is set to commence after the director finishes working on the Hindi remake of the film with Shahid Kapoor.
