Not an achievement: Dunham hits back on weight loss coverageLos Angeles, May 8 (AZINS) Actress Lena Dunham took to her Instagram account to slam a magazine for including her on its cover for her weight loss alongside a blurb sharing "20 Slimdown Diet Tips".

The actress's defiant post comes several weeks after she revealed having faced online attacks over her weight loss, with some dubbing her a "hypocrite", reports dailymail.co.uk.

The "Girls" star, who is set to celebrate her 31st birthday on Saturday, responded to Now magazine by sharing her own irreverent list of slimming tips, as she wrote: "I don't want to be on this cover because it's diametrically opposed to everything I've fought my whole career for and it's not a compliment to me because it's not an achievement thanks."

During an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in March, DeGeneres told Dunham: "You got a lot of flak for losing weight. What were they saying?"

Dunham responded: "Well it's just so crazy, because I spent six years of my career being called things like "bag of milk" on the internet, you know "baby cow", "ageing cow". I just never felt self conscious about it.

"Anyone who's going to take the time to say something negative about my weight on the internet wasn't someone I was particularly keen to impress anyway."
