Man orders passport cover from Amazon and THIS is what he gets in return

We have often heard that someone ordered a particular product online and received something else in return, mostly something less costly or not valuable. In such cases usually, it's seen that a person orders a costly item and ends up receiving something valueless.

However, this is a very different story. In a bizarre incident, a man named Mithun Babu, a native of Kaniyambetta in Kerala's Wayanad district received an original passport in exchange for a passport cover that he had ordered online from the e-commerce company Amazon.

The man from Wayanad had ordered a passport cover from Amazon on October 30. The order was delivered to him on November 1. When he opened the delivery packet he found a real passport along with the cover. Not just that. The passport was not of his but belonged to someone named Muhammad Salih, a resident of Kunnamkulam in Thrissur.

The man immediately contacted Amazon customer care to report on the incident. But the response from the customer care executive was even more shocking, who just said that such a thing would not be repeated in the future and would instruct the seller to be more careful next time.

The executive also did not say what to do with the passport that was delivered to him. However, Mithun Babu is planning to hand over the passport to the owner soon.

This is not the first time that such goof-ups have happened. In October last year, a man from Aluva in Kerala had ordered an iPhone 12 from Amazon but got a dishwashing bar along with a Rs 5 coin.
