Gangster Ejaz Lakdawala, a former gang member of noted criminals like Dawood Ibrahim and Chota Rajan who has revealed that Dawood still lives in Pakistan's Karachi, according to sources quoted by Zee Media.

Lakdawala, who was arrested earlier this month by Mumbai Crime Branch's anti-extortion cell (AEC) team in Patna and brought to Mumbai, confirmed two addresses of Dawood in Karachi during interrogation.

He further told investigators that Dawood is provided with the best of commandos for his security by Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), adding that it is not possible without the knowledge of Pakistan's Prime Minister and the Army Chief.

Infact Anis and Chota Shakeel have been provided safe havens by the ISI, which also helps them in getting fake passports for thier travel to different countries, Ejaz further informed.

Lakdawala is a former member of the Dawood gang who later split and joined Chota Rajan Gang.

In 2002, Chota Shakeel, a high-ranking member of the D-company, orchestrated an attack on him in Bangkok. He was injured in the attack and escaped to South Africa from Thailand.

In 2008, he established himself as an independent gangster and started making extortion calls.

Last year in April, AEC had also arrested Ejaz’s elder brother Aquil for allegedly demanding money from Khar based developer and later Ejaz’s associate Sagar Yadav was also arrested during the probe.
