India vs South Africa: Rohit Sharma named captain for Board President's XI squad against South Africa

South African's tour of India kicks off with three T20I matches from September 15, but fans around the world are more excited about the 3-match Test series which is to be played under the ICC World Test Championship.

Just before the Tests, a three-day warmup match will be played between Board President XI and South Africa, starting from September 26 in Vizianagaram.

The Board President XI side will be lead by Rohit Sharma and will have Mayank Agarwal, Priyank Panchal, AR Easwaran, and Karun Nair in the side.

Other players like KS Bharat and Siddhesh Lad have also included in the squad. Spinners Jalaj Saxena and Dharmendrasinh Jadeja are in the side with Avesh Khan, Ishan Porel, Shardul Thakur and Umesh Yadav making up the pace attack in the squad. ?

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have announced the 15-man squad for India's upcoming three-match Test series against South Africa on Thursday. Opener KL Rahul, who was in poor form with the bat during the West Indies tour for the 'Men In Blue' has been omitted from the squad as batsman Shubman Gill has been included for his debut Test.
