PM to attend Eastern Economic Forum as chief guest in Russia

On Monday, Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale confirmed that PM Modi would be undertaking a short visit to Russia.

He said PM Modi would be in Russia for 36 hours, reaching on September 4 and returning the next day. He added that the PM’s had two broad agendas – attending the Eastern Economic Forum for which he has been invited as the chief guest and holding the 20th annual summit between India and Russia.
