This year’s program is an innovative amalgamation of Indian classical dance Bharathanatyam (Nita Mallya and Preeti Anand) with exciting Flamenco dance from Spain (Inspiracion Flamenca), in keeping with our mission of creating bridges and bonds between cultures.

Join danseuse Nita Mallya and her team of dancers Aisiri, Ariyal, Bhumika, Keertana, Lekha, Teresse, Sonia, and Sweta of Sampradaya Dance of India in discovering one of the themes of Holi celebration - the devotion of Prahlada, his belief in Vishnu, and the victory of good over evil.

Sampradaya has been in the valley since 2004, as an active center of cultural immersion. Sampradaya has shared the stage with many Indian Classical dancers from the valley such as Bharathanatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathak, Odissi, and is now improvising with Flamenco. Nita Mallya, artistic director and her team have performed with the NAU Chorale and Musical Instruments Museum to name a few. They have collaborated with Live World Music, dancing to the tune of Spanish, Chinese, Western, Persian, and Arabic musical instruments.
