Jr NTR in 'Baahubali' director SS Rajamouli's next film 'Garuda'?Feb 13(AZINS) The rumour mills in Tollywood are buzzing with the fact that Jr NTR has been offered a role in SS Rajamouli's new film. Last year, it was widely reported that after Baahubali: The Conclusion, director Rajamouli was going to work on Garuda which was touted as Rs 1000 crore project.

At an event last year, Rajamouli had stated that he admired Mohanlal and the news was that the Malayalam superstar will have an important role in Garuda. Now reports say that Jr NTR has been offered a role in the movie. There is no news as to what the role is but it is likely to be the leading role as the actor was reportedly expected to devote three years to the project. This seems to have him thinking about it as committing three years to one film means he would have to put all other movies on hold.

Actor Prabhas had committed nearly two-and-a-half years to Baahubali and did not work on other projects during this period. Even Rana Daggubati did not take up any other films during work on Baahubali: The Beginning.

Rajamouli is offering Jr NTR an opportunity to create movie history like how he did with Prabhas, Rana and the others in Baahubali. But whether Jr NTR will agree to give up three years of his life and sign on the dotted line is the question.
