FBI arrests 'Iron Man 2' actor for attempting to sell fake coronavirus cure
Iron Man 2 and TV hit Entourage star Keith Lawrence Middlebrook has been arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for reportedly attempting to sell a fake coronavirus cure.

Reports state that Keith is facing "one felony count of attempted wire fraud for reportedly soliciting investments for a company called Quantum Prevention CV Inc. to market pills he claimed would prevent Covid-19 infections and a shot to cure the virus", aceshowbiz.com reported.

Reports further claimed that he was arrested in Los Angeles on March 25, following an FBI sting, in which he reportedly delivered a pack of pills to an undercover agent posing as an investor.

Keith "falsely claimed" to at least one potential backer that basketball icon Earvin ‘Magic’ Johnson was on the board of directors, but according to the affidavit, "Mr. Johnson confirmed to investigators that he knew nothing about Middlebrook’s company."

US Attorney Nick Hanna, for the Central District of California, has warned people to beware of similar scams during the coronavirus pandemic.

In other news, Evangeline Lilly, popular for starring in Lost, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Hobbit had recently made some controversial comments about the coronavirus pandemic where she compared the deadly virus to a 'respiratory flu' and had said that she was no going to isolate herself from the world. She further added that she would venture out, despite living with her ailing father and two children, because she valued her freedom.

The actress has now apologised for her 'insensitive' comments, offering an apology on Instagram saying, "Hello everyone. I am writing to you from my home where I have been social distancing since Mar 18th – when social distancing was instituted in the small community where I am currently living."
