Fresh Pair Alert! Not Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor to romance Shraddha Kapoor in Luv Ranjan's directorial
A lot has been reported about Luv Ranjan's upcoming directorial. When announced the film starred Ajay Devgn and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles. Then there were several reports making rounds about who will be the female lead. Earlier, Deepika Padukone was snapped with Ranbir while making their way out of Luv's house which hinted about the actor being finalised. However, nothing was confirmed by the actors and filmmakers. Then it was said that Ajay has walked out of the film which led to it put on a backburner.

Now, it's confirmed that Ranbir will be playing the lead and he is paired opposite none other than Shraddha Kapoor. Talking about it Luv Films' Twitter handle wrote, "Luv Ranjan’s next to star Ranbir Kapoor & Shraddha Kapoor. Produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, the film will release on 26th March 2021."

Shraddha also shared her excitement by quote tweeting, "Super excited for this!"

With this film, Ranbir and Shraddha will be working together for the first time on the big screen. While co-producer Ankur Garg said in a statement, "We are excited to present Luv's film with Ranbir & Shraddha's fresh pairing and hope that the audience will feel the same when they watch the film."

Currently, Ranbir is completing the shoot of his upcoming film titled Brahmastra opposite Alia Bhatt. The film directed by Ayan Mukerji is releasing in Summer 2020.

While Shraddha is gearing up for the release of Street Dancer 3D opposite Varun Dhawan. The dance flick is helmed by Remo D'Souza and is hitting the screens on January 24, 2020.
