The film went on floors a couple of days ago in Mumbai and is being helmed by Rumi Jafry. The film is of the mystery thriller genre. Emraan shared a photo of himself posing with the clapperboard and tweeted, "One more off the bucket list as I start shooting for a mystery thriller #Chehre with the legendary @SrBachchan, produced by @anandpandit63 and directed by #RumiJaffery stellar cast: @annukapoor_ @tweet2rhea @kriti_official @siddhanthkapoor #RaghubirYadav @apmpictures."

Today, Big B took to his Twitter page and shared his first look from Chehre. In the photos posted on his blog, the Megastar of Bollywood is seen wearing a green pantsuit and a muffler around his neck. He tied his long beard and completed his look by sporting a green beanie and spectacles. Big B tweeted the silhouette of his first look stating, "T 3161 - Another meter down .. started new film with Rumi Jafry .. "CHEHRE" .. a long standing commitment, now fructifying .."

Emraan shared an interesting fact about Big B by tweeting, "An uncanny coincidence :  yesterday was my first scene with Mr Bachchan and in the course of our conversation just realised that yesterday was also 46 years of #zanjeer a film in which my grandmom played a small role as his mother."

Chehre is produced by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures and Saraswati Entertainment P Ltd. It's slated to release on February 21, 2020.
