'Life in a Metro' actress Nafisa Ali diagnosed with stage 3 cancerNov 18 (AZINS) Veteran actress Nafisa Ali, who was recently seen in Saheb Biwi Aur Gangter 3, has been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. The actress took to her Instagram account to share the news with her fans and followers. Nafisa Ali Sodhi posted a picture of herself with Congress leader Sonia Gandhi. She wrote alongside the picture, "Just met my precious friend who wished me luck & to get well from my just diagnosed stage 3 cancer.”

Nafisa is the latest celeb from B-Town who has been diagnosed with Cancer after the likes of Sonali Bendre and Irrfan Khan. While Sonali is being treated in New York, Irrfan is undergoing treatment in London. Sometime back, Ayushmann Khurrana's wife Tahira Kashyap too opened up on having breast cancer in her Instagram post.

Nafisa, who made her acting debut as early as in 1979 in Shashi Kapoor starrer Junoon, went on to do a number of Bollywood films later. Some of the notable ones include Life In A Metro, Major Saab and Yamla Pagla Deewana among others.

Nafisa is also a member of the Congress party and is married to Colinel Sodhi, who's an Arjuna award winning golfer. They have three children.

Not many are aware of the fact that Nafisa had also been Miss India 1976 and ended up being the 2nd Runner Up in Miss International pageant. She's a National Swimming champion too.
