Google Assistant has a hidden lists, notes web appOct 22 (AZINS) A yet-to-be-announced feature will be making Google Assistant a little more inclusive for users who have to currently rely on third-party apps for notes-taking or list-making. The Lists and Notes web app for Assistant is currently accessible through assistant.google.com. You can add or delete new lists and notes to it. It is unclear as to when the app will be formally announced or embedded into other Google products.

Google has also  started rolling out the Schedules feature for Google Assistant. With Schedules, you can set commands for a specific time on specific days. For instance, you can set your room lights to switch on every workday at 7 AM, without having to repeat the instruction drill everyday, TechCrunch reported. To automate such processes simply go to Google Home app > Settings > Routine > and set a new routine with the + button.

Google Duo video calls can now be launched by a Google Assistant command as well. Now if a user says “Hey Google, video call Mom," up pops Google Duo -- as long as the app is installed. Google Duo, first announced in 2016, is a video chat app -- much like Apple's FaceTime -- however it's available for both Android and iOS. It has a few features that can't be found on its rival's app, such as the ability to leave video messages rather than voicemails, preview the caller's live camera before answering and it's also not necessary for both parties to have the app.

But one feature that Apple introduced ahead of Google is the ability to use the ‘virtual assistant' -- in its case Siri -- to place a video call. Google Duo has just rolled out a similar feature to some of its users. The new ability was spotted by Android Police who detailed their experience when playing with the feature.
